About Reynolda House Museum of American Art

Housed in a house completed in 1917 by Katharine Smith Reynolds and her husband R. J. Reynolds, this Winston-Salem museum presents a collection spanning colonial-period through modern American art. The house once stood at the center of a large estate of more than one thousand acres. Visitors can also explore the surrounding gardens, grounds, and a conservatory, and the site is affiliated with Wake Forest University. The museum offers tours, family workshops, and seasonal events throughout the year.
