Jackson County runs this park on the south side of Highway 90, across from Merritt's Mill Pond and just west of Highway 71. Visitors can launch canoes and tubes into the creek and enjoy boardwalks for nature walks, which are accessible to people with disabilities. Benches offer places to rest and take in the scenery. The county asks visitors to avoid glass and Styrofoam containers in the park and on the river, and it notes a fine for violating its ordinance. Parking is available on site.
