About The Waterfront

The Waterfront is an outdoor shopping destination spanning the boroughs of Homestead, West Homestead, and Munhall, close to Pittsburgh. It occupies land that once held a U.S. Steel mill that shut down in 1986. The development opened to the public in 1999 and has grown since, offering stores, dining, and entertainment options. Visitors can find a mix of shopping and eating spots, and the site also includes historical landmark and mural features.
