West Rock Ridge State Park spans parts of New Haven, Hamden, and Woodbridge in Connecticut. Its ridge runs roughly six miles, with west-facing cliffs that reveal far-reaching scenery across the New Haven area and nearby towns. Visitors can drive to overlooks, hike the blue-blazed Regicides Trail, or ride mountain bikes on a network of park trails. Judges Cave, a colonial-era site tied to two regicides who hid there, is also within the park, along with Lake Wintergreen and a road that follows the ridge.
