About Bayernhof Music Museum

Bayernhof is a German-style mansion that once served as the home of its founder, Charles B. Brown III. Today it houses a notable collection of music boxes and other antique self-playing music machines, along with various other curiosities. Visitors move through a series of distinct rooms, some reached through hidden doors and secret passageways. The museum's south side is mostly glass, giving broad views over the Allegheny River. Guided tours are required and must be booked in advance by phone.
