Bazaar del Mundo is an outdoor complex of specialty shops within Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, created in 1971 by Diane Powers on a former motel property. The shops specialize in handcrafted folk art and gifts, particularly from Mexico and Latin America, and the courtyard regularly features mariachi and folk music. The adjoining Casa Guadalajara restaurant, also run by the Powers family, serves Mexican cuisine and is known for its patio dining and tableside tortilla-making.
