About Westfield UTC

Westfield UTC is an upscale open-air mall at 4545 La Jolla Village Dr in San Diego's University City, near UC San Diego. It opened in 1977 as University Towne Centre, and a phased expansion added a 144,000-square-foot Nordstrom in 2017 and the UTC Transit Center trolley station in 2021. Macy's and Nordstrom are the department stores, an AMC theater is on site, and dining includes Din Tai Fung, Shake Shack and JOEY La Jolla.
