About Brookside Gardens

Brookside Gardens is a display garden in Montgomery County, Maryland, set within Wheaton Regional Park. Its grounds hold many distinct areas, including aquatic, azalea, butterfly, children's, rose, and Japanese-inspired gardens, plus formal perennial, yew, and fragrance gardens. Two conservatories let visitors enjoy the plantings throughout the year. Montgomery Parks operates the garden, and entry costs nothing. Visitors should follow posted rules on food, pets, bicycles, and other items, and should use the pedestrian entrances rather than crossing the vehicle deer grates. Weddings, meetings, and photo sessions can be booked through the venue rental and permit programs.
