On the American side, an elevator drops 175 feet through rock to the base of the gorge, where a series of wooden walkways climbs toward Bridal Veil Falls. The finale is the Hurricane Deck, roughly 20 feet from the cascade, where tropical-storm-force spray hits you head-on, ponchos and special sandals are provided, and you will still get soaked. The walkways operate seasonally, while the World Changed Here Pavilion and gorge access keep the attraction open year-round.
