The Chazen is the University of Wisconsin-Madison's art museum, opened in 1970 as the Elvehjem Museum of Art and renamed in 2005. A bridge joins the original Elvehjem building to a 2011 addition, and together they hold more than 25,000 objects, making it the second-largest art museum in Wisconsin. You can see works by Miro, Rodin and Dali alongside changing exhibitions. Admission is always free, and drop-in tours run on many weekday evenings.
