This 941-acre park near Moravia follows a long, narrow gorge of cool, dense woods, and its Gorge Trail passes five waterfalls and unusual rock formations. A dammed stream forms the swimming pool, open daily in summer. The park also keeps a replica of Millard Fillmore's boyhood log cabin, open mid-April to mid-November, since the president was born about five miles away. The park has 60 campsites and cabins, and in winter the unplowed roads are open for skiing and snowmobiling. Cars pay $8 to enter from mid-May to mid-October.
