About Golden Ball Tavern Museum

The museum occupies a historic tavern and house on Boston Post Road. It focuses on Loyalist perspectives during the Revolutionary War, through the story of tavern keeper Isaac Jones, who opened the tavern in 1770. Guided tours with docents also cover the house's later generations of the Jones family, who lived there for nearly two centuries. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and dates to 1768 according to outside reference material.
