Visitors can see its fishscale shingles, decorative porch work, pine floors, and an unusual double-flue chimney with a walk-through stairway. The house was an early example of modern comforts, with gas lighting, running water, and indoor plumbing. It is managed by the Thomasville History Center and offers guided tours on set days.
