About Maggie Daley Park

Set near Lake Michigan in the Loop, this downtown Chicago park was rebuilt around a field house, a winding ice skating ribbon, a children's play garden, and climbing walls. Visitors can find lawns, picnic groves, tennis and pickleball courts, mini golf, and fire pit areas. The park is linked to Millennium Park by a pedestrian bridge. Its activities change with the seasons, so some attractions such as the climbing wall and rollerblade rentals close at set times while winter features take over. It is managed by the Chicago Park District and was named for former first lady Maggie Daley.
