Douglass (Anna and Frederick) Park is a historic regional park of about 162 acres in North Lawndale, laid out by William Le Baron Jenney in 1871 around a picturesque lagoon. Jens Jensen later added a long formal garden at Ogden Avenue and Sacramento Drive, with the Flower Hall shelter, a reflecting pool and a lily pool. The park also has a 1928 fieldhouse, an outdoor pool and playgrounds. It was renamed in 2020 for Frederick and Anna Murray Douglass, and summer brings concerts and the Junta Hispana festival.
