The rooms include an Arid Garden, a Rose Garden, a Celebration Garden, a Woodland Garden, and an educational Family Garden that grows seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruit trees. Other features include the Hawkins Sculpture Walk, a Pergola Walk, and the Friendship Pavilion. The main entrance runs through the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion, designed by architect Peter Bohlin.
