About Nationality Rooms

The Nationality Rooms sit inside the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning and celebrate the heritage of Pittsburgh's diverse communities. Most of the rooms are still used as university classrooms, so students learn in spaces shaped by these cultures. The rooms host lectures, concerts, exhibitions, and holiday celebrations, and a committee structure keeps the original community groups involved. Tours are offered, and the program funds student and educator scholarships for study abroad.
