About Randyland

Randyland is an outdoor folk art museum on the corner of Arch Street in the Mexican War Streets on Pittsburgh's North Side. Artist and community gardener Randy Gilson bought the building for $10,000 in 1995 and has covered the courtyard and facade with paint, hand-lettered messages and reclaimed objects such as mannequins, plastic dinosaurs and pink flamingos. It is one of the most photographed spots in the city. The Mattress Factory art museum is a short walk away.
