1 Playland Parkway, Rye, NY 10580 · Rye, NY
Playland opened in 1928 on the Long Island Sound in Rye and is still owned by Westchester County. It is a National Historic Landmark, and the wooden Dragon Coaster from 1929 is its mascot. Walking in is free; a ride wristband costs $10 and parking is $15 per car. The park also has a beach and pool with their own fees. It opens on weekends in May and runs most days except Monday and Tuesday through early September, so check the schedule before you go.
