The Neuberger Museum of Art sits in a Philip Johnson-designed building at the heart of the SUNY Purchase campus in Westchester County. Founded in 1969 with a promised gift from collector Roy R. Neuberger, its permanent collection includes works by many well-known modern American artists. Visitors can see rotating displays drawn from the collection, along with special exhibitions of modern, contemporary, and African art. The museum also runs docent-led tours and school programs, and it hosts lectures and events throughout the year.
