The 17,088-acre Pymatuning Reservoir is the largest lake in Pennsylvania, and the park around it covers 16,892 acres. People come to boat, fish, swim at the beaches, camp and rent cabins. At the Linesville Spillway the carp pack so tightly that ducks walk across their backs, and the state runs a fish hatchery and wildlife viewing areas nearby. A causeway crosses the lake into Ohio. Pennsylvania state parks charge no entrance fee.
