Ron Coleman Mining is a fifth-generation, family-owned quartz crystal mining operation near Hot Springs that opened its digging area to the public in 1991. Visitors keep everything they find, can tour the working commercial mine by military vehicle, and can ride a quarter-mile zipline over the crystal pit. The site also has a mineral gallery, rock shop and the adjoining Crystal Ridge RV Park.
