Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

311 W Kincaid St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 · Mount Vernon, WA

Why you should go…

The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is an annual, monthlong event held every April across Skagit County, Washington, where growers including RoozenGaarde, Tulip Town, Garden Rosalyn and Tulip Valley Farms open millions of blooming tulips and daffodils to the public. General festival participation is free, though the individual display gardens charge separate admission to cover field upkeep. The festival runs an information office in downtown Mount Vernon and a visitor center in nearby La Conner, and Skagit County grows more tulips than any other county in the U.S., accounting for roughly three quarters of the country's commercial tulip production.
