Broadway comes to a converted 1838 meetinghouse every summer at America's oldest professional summer theatre, which opened in 1927 with Basil Rathbone on the bill. Bette Davis famously worked here as an usher before landing on stage, and generations of stars have followed. The June-to-September season packs musicals, comedies, and plays with professional casts into the intimate house on the leafy Cape Cod Center for the Arts campus along historic Route 6A in Dennis.
