About West Allis Historical Society

The West Allis Historical Museum presents the history of the community, including factory machinery, farm equipment, and tools. Visitors can also walk the outdoor Memorial Garden, which displays architectural pieces rescued from older buildings around town. The Honey Creek Log Schoolhouse recreates a classroom from the 1800s, and docent teachers portray early instructors. Nearby, the Honey Creek Cemetery holds early residents' graves. The society is a nonprofit that also runs events and offers group tours by arrangement.
