About Patrick and Beatrice Haggerty Museum of Art

The Haggerty Museum of Art opened in 1984 on the Marquette University campus near downtown Milwaukee. Its collection of about 10,000 works includes European paintings from the late Renaissance on, 20th-century German art, photographs and prints, with pieces by Gustave Caillebotte, Diego Rivera, Salvador Dali, Jacob Lawrence and Andy Warhol. Keith Haring's Construction Fence mural, painted for the building site, now hangs inside. Exhibitions are free and open to the public, and free parking options are listed on the museum's website.
