This New York state park covers about 476 acres of older woods, open fields, and wetland on the south shore of Lake Ontario. A strip of land called The Island separates Tuscarora Bay from the lake, and the bay has a boat launch and storm shelter docks. Visitors hike, snowshoe, and cross-country ski on a four-mile nature trail. Anglers fish from boats or the shore for panfish and game fish. Picnic areas have lake views, and a playground is available for children. Six shelters can be reserved, and a kitchen with an attached conference room is also on site.
