Biscayne National Park

9700 SW 328th St · Homestead, FL

Why you should go…

Biscayne National Park covers bay water, mangrove shoreline, coral reef and the northernmost of the true Florida Keys, and about 95 percent of it is water. Start at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center at Convoy Point on the mainland. From there, boat tours, snorkeling, diving, paddling and fishing get you into the park. Elliott Key and Boca Chita Key, with its ornamental lighthouse built by Mark Honeywell, can only be reached by boat.
