Button Bay sits on a bluff along Lake Champlain and offers camping, cabins, a lean-to area, and a nature center. Visitors can swim in the lake, hike an easy trail, bike the Lake Champlain Bikeway, fish, boat, and picnic. The park takes its name from small clay concretions along the shoreline that resemble buttons, and it was once a farm before becoming a state park in 1964.
