1823 Route 9, Chesterfield, NH 03443 · Chesterfield, NH
This roughly 13-acre natural area in Chesterfield protects a deep rock canyon with steep walls that rise about 70 feet. A footpath loops around the gorge and follows the brook, offering viewpoints of cascades and waterfalls. Remnants of an old bridge's stone abutments sit across the water, a reminder of earlier use. Visitors should watch their footing, since some trail sections get slippery near the water. Pets are allowed only in designated areas, and the park has a seasonal visitor center and picnicking.
