Its waterfalls look different depending on weather and season, with winter and spring often showing them at their most dramatic. A network of numbered trails runs through the canyon, with difficulty ratings ranging from easy to rugged. Clifty Creek's rocky bed holds fossils from an ancient marine ecosystem, though collecting them inside the park is prohibited. The park also offers camping, a swimming pool, a nature center, and an inn. Brough's Tunnel is closed for an indefinite period after an early spring rockslide.
