A county history museum in a restored 1920s bank building in Eastland, Texas, with exhibits on local communities.
114 South Seaman Street, Eastland, TX 76448 · Eastland, TX
The museum began in 1992 as a county museum and historical society that collected old photographs and memorabilia from Eastland County and its towns. In 2004 it moved into a five-story former bank building on South Seaman Street. Restoration aimed to return the structure to its 1920s appearance. The first floor holds a permanent county history exhibit along with space for temporary and traveling shows. The second floor has community rooms where towns across the county have built their own displays. The basement still contains two bank vaults and is planned for archival storage. Its collections include family donations and a motorcycle museum display.
