About Haulover Park

Haulover Beach Park, run by Miami-Dade County, holds the largest remaining stretch of undeveloped beachfront in the county. It sits north of Miami Beach between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach. Visitors come for the sand, surf, and coastal vegetation, and for lifeguarded swimming areas. A clothing optional section on the northern part of the beach is staffed by volunteers who explain the etiquette. The park also offers picnic areas and shelters, a marina with charter fishing, a dog park and dog-friendly beach stretch, bicycle and kite shops, a skate park and pump track, and fishing spots along the cut and waterway.
