About McCormick's Creek State Park

McCormick's Creek became Indiana's first state park in 1916 and sits about 14 miles west of Bloomington. Trails lead through a limestone canyon to waterfalls on the creek, past a stone arch bridge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and the old Statehouse Quarry that supplied stone for the Indiana Statehouse. You can also climb the fire tower, visit the nature center and eat at Canyon Inn. Gate entry is $7 per car with Indiana plates and $15 with out-of-state plates.
