MORA, formerly the Museum of Russian Art, began in 1980 as the C.A.S.E. Museum of Russian Art in Exile and introduced Soviet émigré and nonconformist art to American audiences. It changed its name to MORA Museum of International Art to reflect its long opposition to the Russian government. The collection includes works by Ernst Neizvestny and Vladimir Ovchinnikov, shown alongside changing exhibitions. The museum asks a $10 recommended donation, and hours follow each exhibition, so check the site or call before you go.
