About Robinson State Park

Robinson State Park stretches 1,025 acres along the winding Westfield River in Agawam, on land Springfield businessman John C. Robinson gave the state in the 1930s. More than 20 miles of trails and paved roads serve hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and cross-country skiers, and part of the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail passes through. Birders come for migrating species, and you can also fish, paddle and picnic. The swimming area closed for good in 2024. In summer, parking costs $5 for Massachusetts cars and $20 for others.
