10 Snowshoe Dr · Snowshoe, WV
Snowshoe Mountain is the largest ski resort in the Mid-Atlantic, with 60 slopes and trails on 244 skiable acres served by 14 chairlifts. Unusually, its village sits near the summit rather than at the base of the mountain. Two runs, Cupp Run and Shay's Revenge, drop 1,500 vertical feet. In the warmer months the resort turns to mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding and a golf course designed by Gary Player.
