This compact state park sits on the eastern bank of the Thames River in Ledyard and covers about 55 acres. Visitors can launch car-top boats at a gravel ramp on a tidal estuary, fish from the shore, or climb a trail to the park's high point for views over the river and Stoddard Cove. A stone-walled family cemetery and a former Native American lookout add historic interest. The park has no restrooms, and buses carrying more than 30 passengers are not permitted.
