Tippecanoe River State Park sits in Pulaski County in northern Indiana. The river draws paddlers, and visitors usually bring their own canoes or kayaks or arrange rentals with local outfitters. The park has about 23 miles of trails, mostly easy to moderate, including hiking-only paths and shared hiking and horse routes. Camping options range from primitive and electric sites to camper cabins, horse sites, and youth tent areas. Several structures built by the Works Project Administration in the 1930s remain, including a 90-foot fire tower with broad views and Tepicon Recreation Hall, a popular spot for weddings and reunions.
