About Ward Pound Ridge Reservation

Ward Pound Ridge Reservation covers 4,315 acres in northern Westchester County, making it the county's largest park. Over 35 miles of marked trails cross forest, streams, wetlands and ridges, used for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. A Civilian Conservation Corps camp built trails, shelters and the Trailside Nature Museum in the 1930s, and the museum runs weekend nature programs in every season. You can also picnic, fish or camp in a lean-to.
