“We have a little bit of everything,” says one of the volunteers. Northside is staffed entirely by volunteers, some coming from the church and locals from the surrounding area. And they do have just about everything. Northside carries clothing, small furniture, household items, books, toys, fabric, frames, artwork, and glass wear, so there is no shortage of fun items to poke through. Be sure to plan your Dennis Port visit around their store hours. Northside is open Tuesday – Saturday between 10 am and 5 pm and is closed on both Sunday and Monday.
A consistent local thrift shop favorite is Cape Cancer Thrift Shop in West Barnstable. Pick up the perfect tchotchke or a souvenir to remember your trip to the Cape. Peruse the selection of fine and costume jewelry that is consistently flying off the shelves.
