Babcock State Park covers 4,127 wooded acres in Fayette County, about 20 miles from the New River Gorge Bridge. Its centerpiece is the Glade Creek Grist Mill, a working replica of the original Cooper's Mill built in 1976 from parts of three other West Virginia mills, and the corn meal it grinds is sold on site. You can hike more than 20 miles of trails, fish and paddle 19-acre Boley Lake, or stay in a cabin or campsite.
