About Bloomingdale Trail Park

Bloomingdale Trail Park is an elevated green corridor built on an old railroad embankment on Chicago's Northwest Side. It is the Chicago Park District's Park No. 572 and is part of The 606, a network that also includes several ground-level parks. The elevated trail is used by walkers, runners, and cyclists, and it links neighborhoods such as Bucktown, Wicker Park, Logan Square, and Humboldt Park. Along the route are an observatory with sunset views, art installations, educational programming, and several overlooks and benches.
