Enchanted Rock State Natural Area protects a 425-foot pink granite dome north of Fredericksburg that has drawn people for thousands of years. You can climb the Summit Trail, explore nearly 22 miles of trails, rock climb, camp and picnic. The park is an International Dark Sky Park, so nights are good for stargazing. Reserve a day pass in advance to guarantee entry.
