Florence Marina State Park sits on the northern end of a large reservoir that is also called Lake Eufaula. The park covers about 173 acres and blends a former farming and trading community with forest walks and water activities. Visitors can fish from a lighted pier, rent boats, use the boat ramp, or explore the wooded trails on foot. Birdwatchers often spot herons, egrets, and sometimes bald eagles. The Kirbo Interpretive Center shows local wildlife and plants, along with artifacts that span from prehistoric times to the early 1900s, including items tied to Native American peoples. Overnight guests can stay in cottages, efficiency units, or a campground. Providence Canyon State Park lies a short drive to the southeast.
