About Seminole State Park

Set along the flooded Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers near Lake Seminole, this southwest Georgia park offers cottages, campsites and picnic shelters close to the water. Visitors can fish, boat, paddle, swim at a sand beach and enjoy calm water for skiing and tubing. A nature trail winds past gopher tortoise burrows and through a large stand of longleaf pines, where alligators, osprey and bald eagles may be spotted. Nearby wildlife management areas are popular with duck and deer hunters.
