Glen Canyon National Recreation Area covers more than 1.25 million acres from Lees Ferry in Arizona to the Orange Cliffs of southern Utah. Lake Powell is the centerpiece, with boating, kayaking and houseboating, plus guided tours on the lake, the river and the dam. On land you can stop at the Carl Hayden Visitor Center at Glen Canyon Dam near Page, walk to Horseshoe Bend, or explore the Lees Ferry Historic District. Lake levels change, so check current conditions before you go.
