Lakenenland is a roadside sculpture park in the Upper Peninsula, built by artist and union boilermaker Tom Lakenen from salvaged metal. Its winding woodland Sculpture Trail holds more than 100 of his colorful, whimsical works. The grounds also include a bog walk, a large timber-framed pavilion, a picnic ground, two entertainment stages, a children's playground, two fishing ponds, a new T-shirt shack, and direct access to the North Country Trail. Admission is free, and the park welcomes snowmobilers and leashed dogs.
