About Larz Anderson Auto Museum

The museum sits in the Anderson Carriage House within a 64-acre park in Brookline, a short drive from central Boston. Its collection is promoted as America's Oldest Car Collection and it hosts rotating exhibits, automotive history lectures, family programs, car shows, and outdoor Lawn Events. The collection grew out of the Andersons' early purchases and was later entrusted to the VMCCA after Isabel Anderson died in 1948, which led to the museum's founding.
