Mono Pond State Park Reserve is a public recreation area of about 218 acres in Columbia, Connecticut, built around a shallow pond. The water is shallow across most of its extent, so boating works best with canoes, kayaks and rowboats, and a low speed limit applies. Visitors can fish, hike marked trails, picnic, bird watch and cross-country ski, and a launch for paddle craft is available. Bow hunting is permitted in the autumn on the pond's west side. Parking is free, and the park is reached by a short drive south of Route 66.
